Gamer and streamer turned roleplayer, Formulation began using Twitch as a means of expression and connection before finding and falling in love with roleplay. He has been putting in the work to learn to build the dream of a roleplay community that thrives on creativity for the past two years.
VIOLETILE

Violetile has been a roleplayer for over a decade with dreams of bringing some of the styles and methods she experienced to the voice roleplay realm. She has a background in graphic design, marketing, community management, and 3D modeling. She loves dad jokes, stories, and anything purple.
WHAT MAKES CITY OF FIENDS DIFFERENT?
Rather than using roleplay to add to the game, our goal is inversely to use the game to enhance interactive roleplay.
Our lore allows players to adapt previous characters and plotlines to continue or reference past stories. A new beginning shouldn’t have to mean an end.
Sci-fi elements explain game mechanics such as respawns, prison time conversion of minutes to months, and more in a roleplay-friendly way while also allowing more fantastical characters and storylines.
City of Fiends has been a labor of love for years. Planning and development began in 2019, but the the server didn't open until we felt it was ready for you on April 22nd, 2022.
We will never be finished developing and growing. We have much more planned, are open to suggestions, and leave creative space for players to create their own events, groups, stories, lore, and more.
City of Fiends aims to be streamer friendly. Systems such as streamer mode on phones, a “Now Live” channel, and TOS inclusion in server rules are just the foundation of our work toward supporting our players and streamers.
While we are committed to solid roleplay, “serious” isn’t the only type we love to see. Play out the heavy drama of your dreams, or get a little silly and comedic. Humor and off-beat elements are welcomed and embraced within reason. We believe that comedy, fiction, and imagination have room to be genuine and significant without needing to be no-nonsense.
Don’t like strict realistic simulation? Don’t like mechanics-focused gaming and grinding at the heart of your roleplay time? No problem because we don’t either! What’s the fun in playing pretend if reality can’t be bent to make roleplay more enriching and fun? We believe strongly in offering variety and leaving room for creativity and community to mold the server.
Community is key. Staff is friendly and involved, beginners are welcome with open arms, and everyone is excited to meet you.
